How to use:
1. Download the app - WhatsApp is available for free on both the App Store and Google Play Store.
2. Setup - Once downloaded, open the app and enter your phone number. WhatsApp will send you a verification code to confirm your number. Enter this code into the app when prompted.
3. Add contacts - WhatsApp will automatically detect which of your contacts have the app installed. If they do, they'll appear in your WhatsApp contact list. You can also invite friends to join from within the app.
4. Send a message - To send a message to someone on WhatsApp, simply tap on a contact in the app and start typing.
5. Make a call - To make a voice or video call, select the contact you want to call and tap the phone or camera icon in the top right corner of the screen.
6. Create a group - You can create a group by pressing the "New Group" button and selecting the members you want to add. Once created, you can send messages, make calls and share media with everyone in the group.
7. Status - The Status feature allows you to post updates, photos, and videos that disappear after 24 hours. You can access the Status screen by selecting the Status tab on the bottom navigation bar.
8. Share media - You can easily share media, such as photos and videos, by tapping on the paperclip icon while in a chat.
9. Settings - You can access the app's settings by tapping the "Settings" tab on the bottom navigation bar. Here you can customize your profile, check your account information and manage your privacy settings.
10. Data usage - Keep in mind that WhatsApp uses data to send messages and make calls. If you're not connected to Wi-Fi, this could result in data charges. To check your data usage, go to your phone's settings and look for "Data Usage".
