ManningFormulaAssistant is a fast, field-ready hydraulics calculator for civil and water resources engineers. It streamlines open channel flow analysis using the Manning equation, helping you verify designs and size channels or pipes with confidence and speed.
Core features:
- Instant Manning equation results for discharge, velocity, depth, and hydraulic radius across rectangular, trapezoidal, circular (including partially full), and triangular sections.
- Design mode to size channel dimensions or pipe diameter to meet a target flow or velocity under slope and roughness constraints.
- Built-in Manning n library, SI and US unit conversion, and one-tap export of results to CSV or PDF.
Ideal for hydraulic design, plan checks, classroom learning, and field inspections. Delivers accurate outputs, clear inputs, and time-saving workflows for high-efficiency, professional-grade results. Keywords: Manning equation calculator, open channel flow, hydraulic design, pipe sizing, civil engineering, productivity.

How to use:
1. Download and open the app, then set your preferred units (SI or US) in Settings.
2. Tap New Calculation and choose a section shape such as rectangular, trapezoidal, circular, triangular, or partially full pipe.
3. Enter known parameters including slope, roughness n, and section dimensions, then provide depth or target flow to get instant discharge, velocity, and hydraulic radius.
4. Switch to Design mode to size pipe diameter or channel dimensions for a required flow or velocity, and use the n library to select appropriate roughness values.
5. Save your calculation to a project and export a PDF or CSV summary for documentation or sharing with your team.
