How to use:
Download and Install:
Download HideU from the Google Play Store or App Store. Install the app on your smartphone and open it to begin the setup process.
Set Up Security:
Upon opening the app, you’ll be prompted to set up a security method. You can choose a PIN, pattern, or fingerprint lock to protect your vault. This ensures that only you can access the hidden content.
Create a Vault:
After setting up your security, you can create a vault where you will store your private photos, videos, and apps. Tap the “Add” or “+” button to start adding content to your vault.
Hide Photos and Videos:
To hide photos or videos, select the files from your gallery or file manager and move them into the HideU vault. Once inside the vault, these files will no longer be visible in your regular gallery or video apps.
Hide Apps:
You can also hide apps by selecting them from your list of installed apps. Once hidden, these apps will no longer appear on your home screen or app drawer. You can launch them directly from the HideU app when needed.
Enable Stealth Mode:
For added security, enable the stealth mode to disguise HideU as a different app, such as a calculator or another utility. This makes it harder for others to detect that you’re using a privacy app.
Set Up a Fake Vault:
If you want an extra layer of protection, you can create a fake vault with a secondary password. This vault can be used to store less sensitive content, offering a decoy in case someone asks to see what’s inside your vault.
Organize and Manage Files:
Within the vault, you can create folders and subfolders to organize your hidden content. This makes it easier to find and manage your private files.
Backup Your Vault (Optional):
For extra peace of mind, you can back up your vault’s contents to cloud storage or an external device. This ensures that your private data is safe even if your phone is lost or damaged.
Access and Use Hidden Content:
When you want to access your hidden content, simply open the HideU app, unlock your vault with your chosen security method, and browse your private files. You can also unhide content if you need to move it back to your regular gallery or app drawer.
