Maneuver legions on the masterboard to claim terrain that unlocks specific recruits while avoiding overextension and ambushes.
Engage enemy legions to shift to a tactical battleboard, using movement, range, and terrain advantages to focus fire and break formations.
Split and merge legions to pressure multiple fronts, reinforce weak points, and create decisive matchups on your terms.
Recruit, promote, and chain upgrades by ending turns on matching terrains and by earning points from victorious battles.
