The Set Lighting App is a professional cinematography lighting toolkit for filmmakers, gaffers, DPs, and content creators. It helps you plan lighting setups, balance exposure, and communicate decisions faster on set.
Core features include a photometrics and exposure calculator to estimate lux or foot-candles, T-stop, ND, throw distance, and beam coverage for common fixtures; a lighting ratio planner to set key, fill, and backlight targets with recommended light levels and camera settings; and a fixture and gel reference with output specs, CCT, beam angles, and gel to Kelvin conversions.
Designed for speed, accuracy, and offline use, it streamlines preproduction and on-set workflows with clean UI, project presets, and quick sharing. Ideal keywords: cinematography app, lighting calculator, photometrics, exposure calculator, film lighting, video production, gaffer tool.

How to use:
1. Download and open the app, then set your preferences for units (lux or foot-candles), metric or imperial distance, and default camera settings like ISO and shutter.
2. Create a new project, add a scene, and enter your target exposure or desired key to fill ratio to establish a baseline.
3. Open Photometrics, choose a fixture from the library or add a custom light, set distance and beam angle, and review estimated illuminance, T-stop, and ND suggestions.
4. Plan your setup by assigning key, fill, and backlight levels, then save the rig list and notes and share the plan with your team.
5. Use advanced tools such as gel to CCT matching and green or magenta correction, create presets for recurring setups, and work offline when network access is limited.
