Welcome to the Sendwave app, your trusted and easy-to-use platform for sending money to loved ones across the globe. This guide will help you get started and make the most of all the features Sendwave has to offer.
Getting Started
Download and Install the App:
Visit the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices) and search for “Sendwave.”
Download and install the app on your mobile device.
Create an Account:
Open the app and tap “Sign Up.”
Enter your phone number, create a password, and follow the prompts to verify your number.
Provide your basic information as required, including your name and address, to complete the registration.
Link a Payment Method:
Once your account is set up, you’ll need to link a payment method.
Tap on “Payment Methods” in the menu, then choose to add a debit card or link your bank account.
Enter the necessary details and verify your payment method to start sending money.
Sending Money
Start a Transfer:
On the app’s home screen, tap the “Send Money” button.
Choose the recipient’s country from the list of supported countries.
Enter the amount you want to send. The app will show you the exchange rate and any applicable fees before you proceed.
Add a Recipient:
If it’s your first time sending money to this person, tap “Add Recipient.”
Enter the recipient’s name, mobile number, and, if applicable, their bank account details or mobile money account.
Save the recipient’s information for future transfers.
Review and Confirm:
Double-check the details of your transfer, including the recipient’s information, the amount, and the payment method.
Tap “Send” to initiate the transfer.
You will receive a confirmation notification once the transaction is complete.
Track Your Transfer:
After sending, you can track the status of your transfer in real time.
The app will notify you when the recipient has received the money.
Managing Your Account
View Transaction History:
Tap on “Transaction History” in the menu to view all your past transfers.
Each entry will show the amount sent, the recipient, and the status of the transaction.
Manage Recipients:
Go to “Recipients” in the menu to view and manage your saved contacts.
You can add new recipients, edit existing ones, or delete contacts you no longer need.
Update Payment Methods:
Access “Payment Methods” from the menu to update your linked debit card or bank account details.
You can add multiple payment methods and select a preferred one for future transfers.
Security Settings:
