If you own a Samsung Family Hub refrigerator running TIZEN 6.0 and above, you need to know this important news! The old Family Hub app will no longer work with these new models. Now you can get a smarter and more efficient home experience through the SmartThings app.
In the SmartThings app, all food-related functions have been integrated into the SmartThings Cooking Service Plugin. Whether it is looking inside the refrigerator, getting recipe recommendations, creating shopping lists and meal plans, everything is here. In addition, the function of uploading photos and videos can also be easily found in the Family Hub device plugin.
To check your refrigerator software version, just go to Settings: Settings > About Family Hub > Software Version > TIZEN 6.0 to confirm whether you need to switch apps.
