How to use:
1. Download and install Proton Authenticator from your app store.
2. Open the app and sign in with your Proton account to enable encrypted backup and sync, or continue offline for local-only storage.
3. Add your first account: tap Add, scan the website’s QR code or paste the secret key, then name the entry.
4. Secure the app: enable biometric lock and set auto-lock in Settings for extra protection.
5. Use during login: when a site asks for a 2FA code, open Proton Authenticator, copy the 6-digit code, and paste it to complete sign-in. Repeat to add more accounts and organize with search and sorting.
