How to play:
Set Up the Game:
Each player chooses a colored mouse token and places it at the start of the board. The trap pieces are scattered around the board, and players will need to collect these as they move around the board. Each player starts with a set number of steps they can take per turn.
Move Your Mouse:
On your turn, roll the dice to determine how many spaces you can move your mouse. As you move, you may land on spaces that allow you to collect trap pieces or take actions to hinder your opponents.
Collect Trap Pieces:
During your journey, you’ll encounter different spaces where you can collect parts of the trap. These parts need to be assembled before you can set the trap into motion. You’ll need to strategically collect the right pieces at the right time while considering your opponents' moves.
Set Up the Trap:
As you collect trap pieces, you can place them on the board to assemble the trap. The trap includes several key components such as the bucket, cage, and various mechanisms that work together to catch the mouse. Once all pieces are in place, you’re ready to attempt to catch your opponent’s mouse.
Activate the Trap:
When you have all the trap pieces in place, you’ll try to set the trap off. This involves a chain reaction where the pieces fall into place, and your mouse is captured. However, you must carefully time and calculate your moves to ensure that the trap works in your favor.
Catch the Mouse:
The goal is to catch your opponent’s mouse by setting off the trap. If the trap successfully catches their mouse, you win the round! If the trap fails or you don’t manage to complete it before your opponent does, the game continues, and the excitement builds with each passing turn.
Endgame and Winning:
The game ends when one player successfully traps their opponent’s mouse. The first player to do so wins the game! Depending on how many players are in the game, there may be additional rounds or ways to challenge your friends.
