How to use:
1. Download and open the app, then allow location if you want to find nearby branches and hours.
2. Sign in with your Los Angeles Public Library card number and PIN; if you are new, apply for a library card in the app or via the library website.
3. Search the catalog by title, author, or subject, use filters to refine results, then tap Borrow for digital items or Place Hold for physical items and select a pickup branch.
4. Open My Account to view checkouts and due dates, renew eligible items, manage holds and pickup locations, and set notification preferences.
5. Explore the Discover or Events sections to find classes, workshops, and programs, and access research databases, homework help, and reading lists.
