How to play:
Choose Your Heroes: At the start of the game, you’ll select heroes from a pool that’s available to you. Each hero belongs to different factions and classes, and they come with unique abilities. Some heroes may specialize in dealing damage, while others may provide healing or crowd control. The key to success is selecting heroes that work well together by creating synergies between their abilities.
Manage Your Economy: Dota Underlords has an economy system where you earn gold after each round. You can use this gold to purchase heroes from a shop, upgrade your level, or reroll for better units. Managing your gold is critical: if you spend too much early on, you may not have enough to purchase stronger heroes later. You can also earn interest on your gold, making it crucial to balance your spending.
Place Your Heroes on the Board: Once you’ve purchased your heroes, place them on a grid-style battlefield. Positioning is vital, as heroes will automatically attack and use their abilities based on their placement. Frontline heroes (such as tanks) should be placed at the front to absorb damage, while ranged or spellcasting heroes are better positioned in the back. Placement can significantly impact how your heroes perform in battle.

Each faction and class has specific bonuses that activate when you have enough heroes from that faction or class on your team. For example, having multiple warriors on your team might increase your team's tankiness, while having several assassins could boost their damage output. Participate in PvP Matches: Dota Underlords features PvP (Player vs. Player) matches, where you battle against other players’ teams. These matches are turn-based and follow a set structure: each player gets a chance to place heroes, upgrade their team, and fight. Winning matches earns you gold, progression points, and a chance to unlock better heroes. If you lose, you take damage to your health pool, and if your health reaches zero, you’re eliminated from the match.
