How to use:
Download and Install:
Download the App Lock app from the Google Play Store for Android or the App Store for iPhone. Install the app and open it to start setting up your app protection.
Set a Security Method:
Upon launching the app, you’ll be prompted to choose a security method to lock your apps. Options may include:
PIN: Enter a 4-digit number as your unlock code.
Password: Use a longer password with letters and numbers for added security.
Pattern: Draw a pattern on the screen to lock and unlock apps.
Fingerprint: If your device supports fingerprint recognition, you can use this method for quicker access.
Select Apps to Lock:
Once your security method is set, choose which apps you want to protect. The app will display a list of all the apps on your device, and you can toggle locks for specific apps (e.g., WhatsApp, Facebook, Gmail, Photos, etc.).
Enable Lock Settings:
You can customize your lock settings, such as:
Auto-lock after a certain time: Set a time delay for when the app locks again after being unlocked.
Re-lock after screen off: Automatically lock protected apps when the screen is turned off.
Hide notification content: Prevent sensitive information from appearing in notifications of locked apps.
Use Intruder Selfie (Optional):
Some versions of App Lock include an intruder selfie feature that takes a picture of anyone who enters the wrong password or pattern while trying to access your locked apps. You can enable this feature in the app’s settings.
Hide App Lock Icon (Optional):
For additional privacy, you can hide the App Lock icon from your home screen. You’ll still be able to open it by dialing a secret code or accessing it through another method.
Unlock Apps:
When you or someone else attempts to open a locked app, App Lock will prompt you to enter the PIN, password, pattern, or fingerprint you set up earlier. Only authorized users can access the locked apps.
